I am currently the Director of Big Data Analytics Lab at The Institute for International Affairs, CUHK (SZ). My research focuses on interdisciplinary aspects of finance, machine learning, health economics, and political science. I am also a CFA charterholder.

能否利用美国的立法大数据来预测立法走向? 答案是肯定的。在美国的复杂立法过程中，每一项法案的命运都充满不确定性。但是，随着大数据和先进分析技术的迅猛发展，我们现在有可能揭开这些过程背后的神秘面纱。在本文中，我们将探索如何通过分析美国国会的大量立法数据，来预测法案的成败。

外交活动数据库

如果将外交活动数据化会怎样？这是我们团队尝试回答的问题。2022年底，我们IIA数据中心团队的Chunwen，Zoey，Jie和我开始了一项将全球历史和当下外交活动数据化的尝试。目前我们完成了美国的部分工作，将Obama时期到当下美国的国务院外交官的外交活动收集起来，建造了一个即时更新的外交活动数据库。这是我们建立全球外交活动数据库的第一步，我们希望未来能够囊括更多的国家，包括军事、商务、情报部门的外交活动等等，建造一个世界外交的“数字孪生”。
